Soggy start all wet wood and my resident painter goes off duty. I had some time to start the roof furring for the steel roofing. Then it got 82 degrees to hot for me....

Just about done with this shed add on. Just some painting and another slim piece of steel roofing. Add the doors and a ramp of some kind to move the mower and snow blower in and out, Maybe some small touch ups here and there. then I can get back to the Coupe building the rest of the summer. Not to forget keeping up my 7 small veggy gardens thru the summer months.

I re-cut the shed door and made it wider from 48 inches to 60 inches. Better safe than sorry yah never know what you might get that is larger than what you have now.

Had trouble with the photos. The splitter has been repainted a 2nd coat and is now finished. It looks brand new3 again. It is 6 years old. Plus I found the distributor hold down clamp for the Merkur 2.3 Engine in my Coupe. I want to get it started soon this clamp was like lost for a while.

I have been looking at the Captain chairs in my Windstar van. I bought another car and will use the van for local knock around transportation. So i think ill try to fit them into the Coupe. The tool shed is all but complete and My wife is decorating it before we move stuff into it.

Final options I had to put some light thru the garage door. I made some 1 foot diameter port holes and covered them with plexi glass I had laying around. plus I fashioned a temporary ramp for my shed to get the mower in and out as well as the snow blower.

Now I have the time to re-arrange my garage space, that’s what I am doing now so I can get back to work on the Rod. It is amazing how much junk and trash stuff you can collect over the winter when you are working on the build.

Finished shed and being used full time. And it is full of stuff already.

Neat addition.I would be happy here with just a concrete slab and a canopy on the side of my garage.

Wish I could do cheaper also but we have severe winters you need overhead and side cover.

I finished up all the lose ends on all these non Hot Rod related projects. So tomorrow I will get to work on the Coupe. The 1st item is to lower the engine in the front and to raise the rear by the transmission. The idea here is to get the engine level so my carb will work. This way I wont have to machine the intake at a angle. So that will be the 1st item to do. I want to start the engine and see what I have so far. I have a few snaps of what the engine looks like now.

I think I have to take a back seat to you.....

I am amazed at the projects you get done.....I would like to get back to working on the "thing" but so much non sense going on.....nice to see you're back to it.....:D

I was looking at your shed build and she turned that orange crate into a family room! nice job on the build and very nice on the finish.

Today I got a start on my motor mounts changing the height front and rear. I also fitted my dual oil filter system that I used on my race car years ago. I think a 4 cylinder will benefit with 2 filters and more oil capacity. I may even run a oil cooler in line with it I can make it from a piece of 1/2 inch base board heat radiator. I’ve made them before they work good and cheap to make. Any way why not use it I had it on the shelf. Cleaner oil with 2 filters. Plus it got the original oil filter out of the way of the frame rails. I raised the rear tranny mounts about and inch upwards. And now in the process of lowering the front mounts by milling away some of the thickness of the aluminium bosses. Once I get it close enough I will back fit the intake manifold. I will also have to modify that as it was made for turbo and not a carb. I will machine some of the inside away to get equal flow on all runners with a carb sitting on top. That's the plan but we will see.
