Haven't heard from you since right before your surgery was scheduled. Hope everything is ok. Has anyone heard how he is doing?

Was wondering myself. Best scenario.... he is on a riverbank drowning worms
with his phone turned off.

Any one know how to get ahold of him to see how he's doing? Starting to worry a little because he's usually on here every day.

It's nice that the folks on this forum think so much of the other members that they worry when one of them doesn't show up for a while. :) Hope everything is ok with the Sarge.

All is OK...... at least for the most part....

Sorry for the absence......and the non posting... had the surgery, went ok, healing slow but steady.....don't heal as well as I used to .... back to work today....but flying a desk for the next month or so at least....Doc was a bit miffed that I was complaining about the slow process of healing....had to point out my age...:( didn't need his reminding me....I know I'm no spring chicken.......things have been a bit nutz at home since my last post.... suffice it to say that when it rains it pours problems......add to that my computer melted down at home, couldn't do anything on the computer there....now have a new lap top to surf with.....been dealing with the appeal of my daughters sentencing and frequent visits with her....and just plain not feeling up to much of anything since I wasn't allowed to do any stooping, climbing, lifting or anything productive other than walking and sitting...I was going stir crazy.....at least I'm out of the house....tried to cut the lawn yesterday on the lawn tractor....not sure if it was the vibration or the use of my foot and leg to stabilize myself but my knee swelled up and was aching like heck....kept me awake all night....(yeah, I need some cheese with this wine)....lol.... all in all, I've accomplished nothing but putting a dent in the seat cushions and wearing out the numbers on the buttons of my remote.....Thanks for the thoughts and I apologize I didn't keep you informed of my whereabouts.....I was feeling sorry for myself....I am alive and well, just frustrated with my slow healing process....the doc made this surgery seem like a cake walk.....not the case..:(

Young man, don't you EVER scare us like that again !!!!!!! :D:D

Glad you are still among the living and sort of on the mend. Give it time, Sarge, over 30 you just don't heal as fast as we once did. The way I look at it when I start grumbling about some ache or pain is that there are a lot of people who would change places with me in a heartbeat, if they could.

Take it easy, enjoy the desk duty, stay off the mower, and give your body time to heal. It's really not that hard.

had a knee surgery, well this coming march will be 2 years, and the damn thing still swells, atleast i can walk without a cain, where i had to use one everyonce in awhile before the surgery. one thing that never changed is it still hurts and the lawn tractor is a killer. good to see you back, and hope you heal well.

Glad to hear your doing good man. They are supposed to plan my knee surgery this week. Yay

Tell the wife It time for that new zero turn mower you have been looking at. It won't hurt your knee[P

Glad you'er up and around. Sitting behind a desk kind of sucks, but take my advice and don't go back on patrol until you fully healed. In the early 70's i Broke my hand and road a desk for 2 weeks, went back on the streets and promptly broke it again. So you take it easy, just don't get carpal tunnel of the thumb using that remote.:D
