A dash plus..........

Needed a places for gauges and other stuff. Liked the clean radio delete dash and wanted to keep it that way. Had some scrap sheet aluminum laying around to hold things together........

When I started my coupester build I wanted it to be a simple, plain hot rod, if you will. Nothing on it that didn't make it start, run and stop. So with that in mind I made the dash as simple as can be..no frills and it features a small horizontal cup holder.

here's mine

narrowing and trimming a 56 Ford PU dash into my 38 Ford PU. More to come as I progress. Will need to cut down a glovebox door to fit. Still trying t sort out how to fly with the gauges. Thinking about "floating" them in the original "hole".

Was a little disappointed after going through this whole thread. I was hoping to see more cobbled together crap, or home made ideas and stuff than what was there. Still cool to look at though. But does anyone have some pictures of some that are really hacked together or just some more like raw materials kind of dash builds?

For Example, this is all I have right now
