Small local show today

Been working on the house this weekend but I did stop by this small local show today during one of my trips to the builders supply. Just a small show in conjunction with a local festival. Here's a few pics

This guy has had this '53 Rag Top since high school. I once photographed his daughters wedding where he drove her up sitting on the back 'parade style'

And the groom arrived in my friend Scott's '39

Camaros were out in force.

Starting with the early ones (My sister's '67 and my nephew's '68)

And it's hard to go anywhere without seeing one these nowadays...

My friend Chris's GN and his Dad's survivor Camaro w/ no console 4 speed, no power windows, AM radio, no A/C....kinda bare for a '79

Small local show, it sounds like your family decided to have a car show, lol.

I'm a Ford guy through and through but i've always liked the Grand Nationals and that one looks awesome. I bet the thunder coming out of that Nova was impressive too.

"Alcohol Enforcement" was there to keep everybody in line. This Model A belongs to a friend of a friend, it has stock running gear as does both of my friend's A's and they have driven them from the east coast to Yellowstone and back!

There's always a little bit of everything at this show, and although not a lot of the stuff is high dollar or show quality you see a lot of folks that are passionate about their cars out with family and friends enjoying them, and to me that's what it's really about....

Like this ragged old Bradley GT that I see on the street regularly....

Or this guy and his kid polishing up a run of the mill late Camaro...

A bone stock 22,000 mile Gran Marquis that my father in-law once owned

This guys kids were using his Dodge as a jungle-gym

and my neighbor and friend Jerry drives this chopped '37 daily during the summer months

And I get a kick out of this kid. He is a die-hard "Ricer" but he recently got this Torino which is pretty clean and sounds real nice. Granted, his Turbo Charged WRX will run run rings around it but you can tell he's been bitten by the American V-8 bug when he goes roaring by in this thing

Nice 4X4...always liked the Blazer/Suburban clips on these trucks

Couple of red '37's

Loved this one! A 406, Three carbs, three pedals and four gears made it extra special........and it sounded NICE!

Not crazy about the wheels but this early Bronco was about as clean as they get...

This Chevy coupe is local and get driven a bunch....Very Cool!

And last but not least, my friend Don's mostly business '55 [ddd He just got this thing on the road late last summer and I haven't ridden in it yet but hope to soon! I'm sure it's not cheap to operate but he drives it a couple of times a week........smells funny and burns your eyes when it goes by [S
