WHAT A LOAD OF HORSE S--T!!!!!! Makes me want to choke someone and it's not even mine.

That is a case of a state agency with as bunch of policies and requirements written by someone that has absolutely no clue.

Hang in there and don't let them get you down.

Stay strong my brother. As some one that has spent way to much time filling out Govt. paperwork I know how frustrating it can be.
I filled an appeal and asked for a hearing in regards to a leg brace that I had to have made. That's was almost 2 years ago. I received a letter today telling me that they are just now going to call me and have a hearing. My theory is that anything that has to do with any Govt. body is purposely made hard in hopes that you will quit before you get it done.
Hang in there.

Let me tell ya boys...I've had lots of people tell me I'm too calm and nonchalant, almost unexcitable! But, there is a point that can be past that gets me to frenzy level. I have been so ****ed all afternoon that I was hoping for somebody to visit, **** me off just a little to where I had to jap slap him but hey, that would be putting anger in the wrong direction. I'll get thru it. I have the patience of Jobe....If ya read in the newspapers in the am that some old bearded guy has the parking blocked off at the county tax collectors office and a crowd is collecting,,,,,that'll probably be me!

Man, what's really sad is when they had that government shutdown because of budget issues a while back, it's the only time in years the government actually ran efficiently. After all, I voluntarily went to the tax collectors office to actually pay money to the state(sales tax on the purchase) and pay money to the county(title fees, impact fees for registering out of state vehicles here and tag fees) and I'm getting turned away. If they were running the government the way a business should be run, they wouldn't be spending excessive time with customers/consumers and resulting in no sales. No wonder the government is in trouble with ideas like this.

Small foot great job one thing I learned long ago is never tell insurance or DMV hey I just built this car and want to register it. Always say I just bought this car and need to register it, here is the bill of sale, bite the bullet and pay the extra sales tax ect. It is worth it. There would have been a lot less questions.

Yea sometimes you gotta lie to them, just like they lie to us.

They stopped that engine runaround crap here ears ago.
The best thing that ever could have happened was a records fire that destroyed that ridiculous type of registering.
Anyone with half a brain know that engines don't last forever and they get changed out. To use an engine number as a vin is ludicrous.
I don't like the bad taste of lying either but, going to the DMV is a validated, forgivable and legal time to flat out lie.

Wish me luck, I'm off the see the wizard! That's the way it went until they asked if it had the original motor to which I responded with the truth. They would've wanted to see the numbers on the motor. Down here it required an affadavit to change a motor when the original vehicle was titled by motor number.

Yay!

Sort of feels like your first kiss, huh?
