I want to see that movie. The whole Snake/Mongoose thing was a big deal when I was growing up as a youngster. I built the model cars and had the Hot Wheels drag strip that came with the funny cars. I wish I still had it. I didn't see them in person until about 1980 though.
The one with the signature, I was at Rt 66 Raceway and was walking and talking with my buddy and bumped into someone. I apologised and kept going, then I realized that I had (actualy) rubbed shoulders with Dom Prudhomme. I went back and found him and apologised again and asked if I could have his autograph. I bought this car about 20 minutes beforehand, it was fate...
Definatly two guys who left their mark in drag racing history...I remember the "wars" between them....kinda felt sorry for snake after the lawsuits between him and his top fuel driver a few years back...kinda took the wind out of his sails!
