I couldn't get anyone to touch this car for $400 sitting in my backyard with weeds around it. So....I dragged it out thursday night, put some trim back on, armor-alled everything, vacumed it, used the air compressor to blow out every single cob-web and leaf hiding in the engine compartment, two coats of paint on the valve cover,a wash, and voila! Sold it for $600 in a day and it was running like crap, blowing smoke, and i told them it didn't pass smog. Perception is really weird aint it?

I think it was the hood pins that sealed the deal.

The spoiler looking device on the roof would have done it for me...that way I could have fit in with the honda boys and their top fuel wings...

A few month's back a friend of mine was looking to buy a cheap 4X4.
He found a 88' 4runner is ok shape for $900,so he buy's the rig and we go stright to the ORV park with it to test it out (and it passed A++)we added a few new dent's and scaped off some paint but that what he got it for. well some time went by and he had his fun,so time too sell the beast he cleans the heck out of the rig like it's going to SEMA,Park's it on the corner with $2200.00 obo on the window and 4hrs later it was sold for $1900.00 as is.

what im geting at is the rig sat at the pot lot he got it from for over a year !
