hi all,

heres some tech info i found interesting .. while searching out a quandary...... dont ask me why ive just assembled it this way .

im running a 10si (internal reg) and an external regulator . im wondering if that has caused low charging and can i alter the external reg to cope, or find an alternator without internal reg.. or how to remove the external voltage regulator... as i think there are charging issues relating to performance ...

We always eliminate the external regulator. It get rid of the chance of it going bad.
You can use a one wire alternator or use one that needs the exciter wire hooked up.
