Well, I got them home. After the 4 hour drive and a bit of a dog and pony show with the 2 guys involved, we get to the farm and both trucks turn out to be long beds. I expressed my displeasure and the guy I dealt with says he never said they were shortbeds. Even though we had talked for an hour on the phone and I had mentioned several times how I was glad to find a pair of shortbeds. So they already had half my money. I offered to take just the yellow one and forget the the rest of the deal but they had already paid the landowner and wouldn't go that route. So I could drive home empty and forfeit the money already paid or do the deal. So I sent good money after bad and held up my end of the agreement, did the deal. The yellow truck is in pretty decent shape except for the cab corners, it shows 53,000 miles. I was pleased that it has the best floor and foot wells of any 57-60 I have looked at in several years, bonus. The 58 is pretty rough but I should be able to ebay 300-400 of stuff off it after I get what I want and still have $150 in scrap. So the 58 will give up the windshield, hood, cab corners, some bed pieces and whatever else to the project
