Man I hate to see that. I wish people would just take the time to sell off all of the car or parts. They would make a lot more money then having a crusher come in.

I did not know how many of you remember satanherself that was on some of the site. Her and her brother would go around buying up old yards locally and ended up make so big bucks selling them off. And all the parts and cars when to people that wanted them.

I bought some stuff from them. One item was a boxed Model A frame that they found laying in the yard. It was never finished. It the frame that under my Rat rod. I still contact her first when I need something.

No wonder she cant get rid of these cars[S. She wants too much money for the ones that are advertised. Price them reasonably, like under a grand each, and they would prolly sell like hot cakes. Lots of nice, restorable cars that i would love to have though...Scrap price is only bring 5-600 bucks a piece anyways (thats if the scrapper pays her full ton price, which is around $230 a ton). Sucks that this kind of Americana is going away.

I'm putting my house on the market for twice what it's worth. If no one buys it in the next month, I'm going to have it demolished and sell the empty lot for a pittance.

I'd think even the crusher businesses would get the idea of how much some of that stuff is really worth. To much hassle I suppose.

Looking at those pics I would say there are only a few cars really worth saving and for the prices they are asking I doubt anybody will bite until Sept 4th.

I hadn't read the ad until now - just looked at the pics. I recant my previous comments. They are going about this sensibly.

There were probably a few choice cars already snagged up and removed from the albums. But yeah, Sept.4 is probably gonna be a big circus there. I would say 1/2 of those cars are worth 600$. If only in parts. Just the chrome, glass, steering wheels, and gauges will get you close to that money on many of those.

I like this one. Sure it's a 4 door, but ya gotta love that glass and chrome.
