I have the purple Speedway adjustable prop valve in my rear brake line. The instructions that came with it are about as clear as mud. I know it cuts down the performance of the rear brakes by limiting the pressure/fluid to them, I just don't know where to start. The instructions don't say which direction is full on or full off, screwed in or out. I'd like to start full on, then adjust down from there to get the right bias, but don't know which direction the valve needs to be for full. Anybody used one of these know which way is full on, and if it's screwed all the way out, how far does it need to be screwed out from the fully closed position, which I would assume is all the way in? Thanks

This is from the aluminum prop valve instructions:

"... with adjustment knob turned out away from housing to its full travel.
This position is set at maximum reduction of line pressure (57%).
After installation and brief track test, the adjustment knob may need to be altered to
fine tune the brake bias. Turning the adjustment knob in towards the housing
allows a graduated increase in line pressure to be released through the valve."

According to their instructions, turning it inward allows more rear brake pressure, outward reduces rear brake pressure up to 57%...

Thanks Rich.....after I went back and read the instruction sheet, it was clear to me. I was having a "senior moment" when I read it the first time!
