Is it possible to have just a rod or shaft hook up to a steering wheel and then to a corvair with just a rod and not a whole column..if so what would I need on both ends? Thanks guuys..I've seen it done before but can't find parts

I use a model a wheel and shaft with the 3/4" bearing to hold it on place.

So I would get a double d shaft or round shaft..then a hub for the steering wheel to attach and then a coupler or something to get it onto the corvair?

Speedway sells kits for this also!! You can use the shaft from an existing column if it's an older one!! Check out circle track cars, they're all done like that!!
