I think it's the wave of the future for roadsters. After most of the P/U cabs get used up, narrowed wide-bodies will be the target. This is just paving the way.

I followed this build when I used to lurk here...........before I joined the forum, but hadn't looked at it for a long time. Would be interesting to know if it got finished. Clipper is still here, according to his profile he was on the board last week. Maybe he'll fill us in.
