Super Secret Fun Run 2019

The Minnesota Street Rod Assn. took over Brainerd International Raceway today and tomorrow, It is free drag racing for members only. The weather was perfect and there was a good variety of cars. We had high hopes for the dragster but couldn't run quicker than 11.63. Nevertheless, everyone had a great time. I won't be able to attend Sunday but Dave will be there with the car. There were quite a few front engine dragsters that ran from the 8's to the 10's. Here's some pics of mainly door cars.

I took most of the pics in the staging lanes when the street cars were mixed in with some real stock bodied race cars.

Everyone is treated to free supper Saturday night. Lots of members drive their street rods just for show, with no intention of racing. Most of the cars that were racing have raced before so there were none of the breakdowns or driver mistakes that can slow the racing down.
