I like it. I don't think that price is out of line. Of course I have not seen the car in person, but the price seems okay to me for what it is.
 
On craigslist from Spokane I see all kinds of old tin for super cheap plus its laying around these parts pretty near everywhere...............sure your not gonna find a
32 ford coupe but lots of alternative iron and in some cases almost giving it away but we are lucky cuz I live in a desert region of the state (about two hours from cycledog) and the tin around here does not rust away quite as fast as other parts so thats why there is still lots out there along with the fact its alot of farmland where farmers have abandoned the stuff and is still there for the finding.
 
Sure, pictures can be very deceiving. But $ 8500 really doesn't get you a heck of a lot any more, and that car has some history and old time stuff already there. I would pay that money unless a closer inspection showed some really goofy stuff.

I guess I'm cheap but it would really have to turn my crank in person for me to pay that.................but might if it was something i really liked
