Swedged steel tubes... suspension links... Anybody use them?

Just wondering how strong these are.... I will be using a parallel 4-link rear suspension if it matters. (I have it setup with temporary links now) Just wondered if anybody has used these for links, and your experience with them. Thanks, JB

I'm thinking that they would be fine, as there will be no "side-load" on them in a parallel 4-link setup, but I'm on the fence about them. Think I'll just use D.O.M. tube and bungs.... then I will KNOW that they're good enough.

We used swedged steel tubes for lower control arms, trailing arms, strut rods, etc. on stock cars without any failures. I have seen tubing with bungs welded in them fail-because they weren't plug welded and no bevel ground between the bung and tube before being welded. The swedge tubes held up from 1/2 mile high bank at Odessa MO to Pikes Peak 1.25 Speedway. Will work on a street car.
