I was down yesterday for a few hours took 3 pics in total to much to see didnt stop long enough to get good pics. Addid a couple new parts to lightspeedMikes hood before crossing the border. Im the fat one.

On the very first post is a pic of "The Chief" white and green 58 Pontiac.
when we pulled in Sat morning I saw the car and did a panic stop and went and found the owner to talk to him.
When I was 14 years old I saw that car at the winter Motorama, it was a traveling show car that was built late 60s, it was on a turn table with lighting set up so it looked like you could see through the paint the thing just glowed and I stood there and was just in awe of the craftsmenship of it and I will never forget the impression it made on me and how I looked at custom cars from that day on. So when I saw it I went wild! The guy drive'n it was the builders son and it has never left the family and is driven alot, he had some great stories of his dad and the things he built.
I really don't have the words to explain how truly special that car is, and he let me sit in it.

I forgot about this one and everyone kinda lost intrest, I guess way to many shiney cars But this was kinda different, I talked to the guy awhile and found out he live's a few miles from me and I never knew it was around.
He started out with a cowel and doors and ran out of money so he made due with what he could find around for free, it is 99% metal.
Gotta give him credit for make'n something very different outa nothing.
