Telling tales on man's best friend

Got a tale about this mutt! I got in my DD 83 C-10 one morning and Buddy piled in with me. Cranked it, let it warm, shifted into gear, nothin, have a worn shift linkage that needs attention one of these days. I jiggled it around some, nothin...then I remembered my coffee left in the house. Without thinking, got out, went in to retrieve my coffee. When I came out, My C-10 is resting against a pine tree, Buddy smiling sheepishly from the driver's seat. I swear, it looked like to me he was apologizing for hitting a tree on his first drive. Every time since then when I catch him in the driver's seat, I remind him of his first attempt....lol!

These pics remind me of a TV commercial..............the dog lets the man drive HIS truck and take him for a ride! Can't remember what they were selling, just remember a blue Ford truck with the dog hanging his head out the window, talking about how the man takes care of the truck with XXXX parts.

Haha! Thanks for the comments guys! That big ol boy is a rescue. The previous owners had already taken him to the Humane Society. They called the next day and told the owners to come and get him. They said if he came back, they would put him down. Although he looks like a badass, he's probably the most people friendly dog I've ever had. Deer and bears are his forte and I have to keep him close out here because he will find one to hunt and chase. He is all muscle and energy and is quite a handfull. Forget a lease unless you like being dragged...

A friend of mine left his dog in the pickup with it running while he went into the C store. Bondo knocked it into reverse and it backed out into traffic and hit a car. On the police report; Driver___Bondo, a dog.
