Thank you Bob, I appreciate it. Hopefully it looks as good (or better) in person as it does on the internet!

Next is design/build motor mounts (got my bushings on Friday), get tires mounted, assemble the front end and roll it out of the garage for the first time in two years.[cl

Nice work on getting the rear all put together, looks great, and great choice on the wheel color too!

Thanks Dirty! It's nice to finally get that rearend done and I am really happy with my wheels too. They look better in person.

I went to Pick-n-Pull today looking for a pair of hinges for my tonneau cover and ended up with these. They are hood hinges out of a '96 Ford Taurus. Of course I'll have to modify them a little but that's a given! I'll post some pictures when they're finished.

Got the engine mocked up in the chassis today after work. It's pretty cool to finally see it in there since it's been sitting in the engine stand for at least three years!

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. I am glad you dig it!

I made some progress this weekend. I got the engine plumb, level, square etc. in the chassis and decided that it is where I want it so I made up and tacked in my engine mounts. I will eventually tie the two together with a crossmember but I have to keep it high enough to leave room for my radiator and fan.

I finished modifying my tonneau cover hinges. I'll spare you the details but they took a little bit of work to get them just right.

My Towel City front runners showed up today, two tires delivered on two trucks at two different times on the same day, but they got here. They look great and the finish is better than my Hursts.

More later!

The hood hinges work. They go up and down and everything! Next I gotta put a couple of struts in there to hold the lid up. I'll probably just run hydraulic struts but they don't really jive with the look I am going for so I may make something.

What about a torsion spring from a trunklid to help with the weight of it?
I imagine you may have to make something a bit thicker than a normal one due to the weight...

That's a good idea Dirty, I may pursue that. I was also thinking about hiding a couple of gas struts and activating them with some linkage. Decisions, decisions.

The front of that truck just looks so angry!!! I love it!!!

Thanks Neverdone! Two years and four months ago when I started this truck I told everyone that I wanted the whole truck to look ****ed off! I wanted people to see two tires, a grill and an engine comin' at 'em! So far I think it's stayin' true to that.

I got my tires mounted today. I could have rolled it out of the garage this evening, but there are a few things that I'd like to address first...don't wanna rush it.
