The Puzzle replacement

Spent the better part of 2 days needle descaleing the trunk and got it in etching primer. Next the inside floor.

worked my way up front today, well the first half anyway.

I finally made my mind up on what to do about tail lights and filled the holes the that someone had put in it where the stock one where.
I formed some tin and filled the holes,

Tail light holes done and the gas door is gone. progress is being made.

Today I took all the front end off and got it way up in the air. Time to install the new power rack-n-pinion steering, hope it works

Its been alota work but I finally have a rack mount made and ready to install.
Now to get the steering shaft correct. It looks like 2 u-joints will do it fine.

The rear window regulators have a "anchor" bracket that is separate from the regulator itself. I hope you already got those out though.

As of right now they are going in a set of Caddy bumper guards, we will see how that all works out. Sometimes I might bite off a bit more than I can chew.

Thanks, I did alot of work on the Puzzle and I hate give'n up on things but my heart just wasn't into it at the end there and I really am a full bodied sled kinda guy anyway so yes this is way more my style. With any luck and some bucks I will be driving it this summer.

Got one lower controll arm dropped 2"s today. So along with the 2" drop spindle and 2.5 coils out of the springs I should be down about 4to 5 inch's I hope. Almost have the rack n pinion steering done also.

Not real sure if anyone is seeing any of this but here is some more progress.
I got the rack mount built and in and now have pwr/rack and pwr disk brakes up front. I also did a 2" drop on the lower controll arms.

Started the tail lights today also, and now I see way to much multi tasking going on

Got the lower hole cut today in the bumper guard and now I am not sure I like it at all. But it apears I am stuck with it like it or not.
Remember these are just roughed in I want this one done before I destroy the other guard that is almost perfect.
