Niagara falls. They channeled all the water over Horseshoe falls and were checking to see if the rocks at the bottom of Niagara could be removed. They found out if they removed the rocks the fall would not be stable. So they scrap the plan.

When I was a kid my dad wanted to go see it. So he toook me along and I got a chance to see it in person. He does have pictures of it.

But there in a box of pictures that is 14X14 x12 inches. He is one for taking pictures. I have found some of the pictures from the flood of 1955 in the Delaware river.
