It was a nice cool night and it was topped off by a visit to the house of one of the guys that lives nearby. Dave has a complete 1940's soda fountain in his garage. Everyone had a malt or a sundae. Not many cars last week because of the Meltdown Drags. Here's the new cars that showed up tonight.
The '39 Chevy was built 47 years ago and Bearded Bob still owns it. The last pic is through my kitchen window Getting the Fiat out for a ride.

Nice cars.

The 58 Ford Ranch Wagon behind the Buick looked funny to me until I realized that I couldn't see the back end. It looked really short. :D Glad I sorted that one out before bed time.

Missed last week, shoulder surgery. Here's the new ones that showed up tonight. a 1,100HP twin turbo Poncho, a 3 owner '36 Ford coupe fresh from California, a shot of the '51 Ford custom interior, and Gruber's 27 T roadster and Anglia.

Some cars tonight but most have been pictured before. I'll showcase my old '49 Plymmie 4 door, chopped(not by me) several years ago. The owner takes his back seat buddy with him all the time. The '58 Chevy is in my estimation a tasteful custom. That's a Minnesota plate painted California colors.

orr, I'll check with Brad and find out what he has for an engine. Glad you and several others like the Thursday Gruber posts. I'm running out of new cars to show however.

OI, the chop was done several years ago when the car had 17,000 miles on it. It was done by Rick Schnell who built, still runs the world's fastest and quickest flathead dragster.

I'm not a big custom fan but the '58 has very tasteful changes done to it.

Here's the Slider in action. I was standing about 20' from it on this run. Doesn't sound like a flathead at all.
