Mounted the trans cooler and ran the lines through the air duct...

Tight fit on everything...

I had some help stop by so I got the front clip on and finished up the wiring.

For 1951 Studebakers had pretty wild styling...

And here I thought this paint scheme was a little more appropriate....

I fired it up tonight, set the timing and adjusted the carbs. I have a little leak at the water neck to fix then get some exhaust on it. Once I get the bugs worked out I'll post some video.

Yea, it's got a trans brake and I need to hook it up before reverse will work.

I like to hook the trans brake relay up through the reverse light switch. That way you can back up without holding the button (usually on the steering wheel so a PITA when backing and turning!). energizes the relay when the lights come on. Then just have the button spliced into the circuit. [P

gotta have a bit of a rake to it....I am totally diggin the stance right now...how is the clearance on the front tires turning radius wise?? Your wheels but man that thing is flat KILLER!!!....[cl

It still should have some rake but I may take an inch out of the rear. The front tires barely clear at full lock.

I kinda like it the way it is... what is it making it too low? pan clearance or A-arm angle or just body clearance?
