title woes?

im going to "find" the original owner and get a new bill of sale and just go in. worst case i pay 2 sales taxes for i already paid from the other seller. so worst is they will charge me and make a total of 20 in sales tax rather than 10 and that should take care of it.

Just remember - never freely offer up information to them. (that goes for any gov. org.!) Wait until they ask. Keep the Bill's of Sale in your pocket unless needed, etc. Only pull out what they ask for. But don't try to be evasive, just play stupid. No use causing yourself more problems.

of course...ill take the title and ask to get it transfered over and only if they ask for the bill of sale(which they will)ill give them that. no stories no nothing. if they must ask ill keep it short and sweet. ill most likely have to pay a bit extra in order to transfer over the couple of years lost but nothing they cant freak out with a $100 bill of sale at 6% sales tax. thanx hopefully i can get to the dmv soon to complete it
