I have never had to deal with torque converter issues as I always used a matching tranny & engine combo. This time is different. I have a early 70s Cadillac 472 big block engine that I want to match up to a late 70s era Olds TH350 tranny that I have laying around. Engine & tranny bellhousing match up. However, the TH350 torque converter bolt holes do not quite lineup with the Caddy fly wheel, bolt centers are slightly smaller. Any thoughts on how to deal with this?

May have solved my problem. Cad Company makes a flexplate/flywheel specifically for the smaller bolt pattern. However the more I think about this, the more I want to convert to a stick shift. Still have mucho time as I am in a slow mode on the 472 rebuild.
