I was at a cruize night this week and saw this 78 Land Cruiser. I wanted to talk to the owner and left before I remembered to talk to him..... yep CRS setting in well.
Anyway.... I couldn't figure out if this thing was restored or stored since new. I believe even if stored it would have some corrosion ect on fasteners and parts.....NADA. Every bolt, clamp, screw, hose, belt everything was like brand new. Not polished or cleaned up but perfectly new. There were even little white stickers with numbers and Japanese writing on them. Stickers even on the U Bolts holding the springs to the front differential. Tires had nubbers on them.
I gota go back to talk to this guy and learn the story behind this thing. I'm thinking it was rebuilt with all new parts? Could it be?
