Trade or Not--PLEASE HELP

I think both markets will get "softer" but the reality of the used Harley situation is this; From what I see the majority of the bikers are aging baby boomers and pretty darn soon they are going to be getting too old to ride, used bikes will be flooding the narkets bad for the next decade or so. Just my prediction.

hard choice, but if i were you i would sell the bike and build your own rat rod, i am sure you will have money left over for something else. thanks and good luck..

You might as well trade him,,,He ain't getting 17 for that and you ain't getting 18 either....That car worth 12ish if it goes down the road well..The bike may have cost you more but I can buy a rigid brand new for 13k and it'll come with a warranty......No offense dude, the market just ain't that good to sell anything now...As long as your keeping the car for a while you'll get your money out of it...

I know the feeling when you are building it on your own. What size is the engine you have in the rails?
