'70 Caddy on the side of the road

I saw this sitting on the side of the road in Alamosa, Colorado. Not my cup of tea, but it did catch my attention. :D Great start for someone wanting a land yacht project.

Outside a local glass shop. I've met the shop's owner and the Chevelle belongs to his wife. This car is immaculate inside and out, top to bottom. The hood is off to facilitate an engine swap. [ddd

Must have been a treat to see that one out and about Trip. Like to know what collectors pay for a Dodge ragtop now.

It was a treat & even Mrs Tripper got out & took a picture! He must have kept the orig mufflers because it was pretty quiet which surprised me... that was always one of the 1st things I changed! [ddd

We travelled 30 miles to the small town of Roberts, WI to have breakfast with my sister and her husband. The Roberts Café is as mid-America as it gets. Across the street from the café was this guy waxing his big block Chevelle and across the street from him was a repair garage with this Ford. Also a first Gen Barracuda and a '70's Olds 442. Yes, Roberts, WI is a happening place.

A couple of worthy pics I took over the last week (ok, I'm still biased)
The 30 Chrysler was one of the first cars to the local meet last Saturday, big block powered! The Cuda was at a little show I took the Graham to last night.
