I've been getting quite a bit done, slowy but surly. Some days it is all I get done to chase down a drill bit and get a couple holes tapped.
Anyway, here is the pedals, donor was an econoline. the primer piece will get welded to the shaft when I get everything situated. Rod runs to the rear where the master cylinder will be mounted to the kickup and activated with a fulcrum.
I also got my firewall tacked in. I made it last winter and had plans to redo it but decided it was ok.

Pretty lucky that that hole in the trans crossmember happend to be there for the brake push rod. hehe. Firewall looks very good, no need to change that, that's for sure. Nice job adapting parts found in the junkyard. Sometimes I think that's the most fun part of building a hot rod.

I got my heims from speedway sat. so I can get my top links in today. I need to go drill some 3/4" holes in flatbar to make all the tabs to mount them. I'll get some pictures of the rear suspension when I get that done. It is a rather unique quarter eliptic that uses the springs as the lower links and triangulated top links.

Well, here's what I got done today. I moved the top bars out. I originally was going to have them inside the frame, changed my mind. No they won't hit the frame, well not after I get the bump stops in. Shocks on the way.
Also I am just tack welding everything until I get a better welder.
Also I used a tie rod off a combine for the tube on the top links. Even after I drilled and tapped it for 3/4" I still had .160 wall.

WB3, My highest regard for your 'taking the road less traveled" and coming up with a unique suspension. Keep up the good work.
