Sno-pro, I have another 283. A Minneapolis-Moline 'U' has a 283 cu. in. four cylinder motor. With its disgusting compression ratio and low revs, it develops about 40 horse-power.

Although with that "disgusting compression ratio", it will probably run on almost anything!

And, Snopro, run almost forever. My daughter has a 1953 Minneapolis 'U' that is still running nicely, but it might have been rebuilt once, I don't know. That's almost 70 years.
Back to the V-dub, it looks and sounds cool. Those are the important things. [cl
