Cooling

If it cools and you like it, that's the right way. You can do lots with a stock bug hood. If you mess up cutting an opening for the radiator, just grab another and have at it.

Started on the inner door replacement sheet metal. Cut out the old and shaped a new piece with a piece of threaded rod and flat stock

Rust repairs on both doors are complete. Re-installed them this morning

Prior to removing the doors, I drilled a small hole thru the hinges, the body and the backing plates to make re-assembly and alignment easier. It worked very well, I was able to re-install the doors by myself with the help of a floor jack and a couple of drill bits. I tightened them down and they shut properly on the first try!

Bug Rod

XB's are handy.. My buddy is 6'7" and fits fine in one. Ben, is that a driveline brake I see? what can you tell us about it?

It is a parking brake, lokar, I believe. It was on the rear end when I got it.

Finished up all the new brake and clutch lines and bled both systems. Used insulation around the lines that are near the headers.
