I got these brand new from Mooneyes with the breathers installed.

Those are cool. If I had a sbc I would have used early style Cal Cusrom. I had a set and even considered making adapters to run them.
These that I just got seem to be the only finned aluminum ones ever made for a Ford with no oil fill or pvc holes.
I had considered finding 2 sets of those stock, smooth 80s GT aluminum covers and just using both of the ones with no hole.

I have a set of mid 60's Call Customs with no holes or breathers but the intake has the oil fill tube on it do I still need brethers on the valve covers?

hey lucky 13... the fill tube should have a vented cap, and there should be either a road draft tube,- early sbc (pre 69) is actually a port in the rear of the block just beside the distributor....or pcv valve somewhere in the system

on one motor i used script valve covers w/no holes and i used an oil-fill tube intake manifold and drilled the rear of the intake (off of motor) and added a pcv valve and hose to the rear of my 750 holley carb... it needs to be a "circuit" an inlet side and an outlet to work properly
