Vinyl fabric question

Anyone know if there is a blue flake vinyl fabric that would withstand the weather? I want to redo my rag top in the blue flake.

I've seen a couple of threads online that says none of the flake vinyl is UV stable. Inside a vehicle it does ok. If it sees a lot of sun, it goes to crap.

Not an expert, but always ready to guess at an interesting question.

I wonder if the outdoor furniture cushions stay out side all their lives. Also, How long do they last. A convertible top is expected to last years. Outdoor furniture, not so much I'd think.

Not sure what you mean by "Flake" If you mean the heavy Flaked Zodiac vinyls I wouldn't count on them taking the sun to well.

Sign co."s use a very strong vinyl like materal .It"s called flex face or something like that.It can be painted.[ with special paint] Maybe talk to your local sign guy?

If this is the type of stuff you mean, my wife can get it, she does upholstery. Picture doesn't show the blue real well, but its a pretty dark blue, almost like a denim color. I've been trying to find something that needs the red cause that stuff is cool as hell.
