My brother in law and I did a full resto on a 65 Bug a year ago and it came out real nice(if you like resto's) and all the time I was telling him it would be so much more fun to and easier to do one as a rat.
Well, he just came up with a 67 convert that we are going to do fenderless 2 seater with extender front end. No plcs yet but it is well on its way.
Anyway, here are a few that I really like.

Does anyone have a picture of..or even remembers seeing the Star Wars custom vw van?

It was chopped, channeled,shortened, and had open t-tops with a cb radio console bucket seats, stood about breast high and was silver and black with Star Wars murals everywhere.

It came out in Vannin or Truckin magazine about 30 years ago

i remember a van like that but it wasn't a vw, maybe a different one but about that long ago.

and more. The black flamed one had a speedway axle under it that broke in half with less than 100 miles on it. Car was messed up pretty bad but is being rebuilt wit a diffrent front suspension and is almost finished.
