I usually go to this event called "Wasteland Weekend" out in the Mojave desert in CA. It's a Mad Max/Road Warrior themed event, so there are a lot of pretty cool and interesting cars out there. I figured I would post some of the photos...

Yeah, it's pretty fun. I am hoping it can become even more of a car event as time goes on. And yeah, some of the people with those vehicles say they get pulled over by the police a LOT. One guy said he was in trouble in his hometown, because the police consider his vehicle a "distraction" on the road, because it scares people, even though every aspect of it is 100% street legal.

Thanks for the coverage. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would see a 49-51 Mercury done up Mad Max style.
