Well the wife and I drove the Studebaker 150 miles to the Shades of the Past rod run in Pigeon Forge TN today. We got 17.5 MPH with the 4.3. V6 and 2.90 gears. I kept up withraffic on I40 west and we ran 75-80 mph a lot. There is a long climb up the mountain West of Asheville NC and we never hot below 70 mph there.

Nah, you'll be fine, Bob. You've heard the expression "Here, hold my beer and watch this !" What could go wrong ?

The last time I drove my 27, about 6 weeks ago, I got to playing with some guy on the road. I nailed it, got moving faster than I intended, and the front end got a LITTLE LIGHT ! Got my attention real quick.
