Webster Swap Meet/Car Show

Not very many cars or for that matter...parts that I was looking for! Got a steering column and small stuff...need to rebuild the column, but it was cheap and it will fit the build. Here are photos of some of the cars that were there.

We have been talking about going to Webster forever, but it is so far from us and it starts so early. I hear there are lots of good deals and lots of parts. Maybe someday we will get our butts out of bed early enough.

Thanks for the pics [cl. That Buick has me thinking, can't recall there ever being such a beast - judging by the height of the roof and rear door, it may have been created from a cut down hearse or ambulance body - very kool.

Thanks for the coverage IH. I've wanted to attend that swap meet since it's the only one I know of in Florida, but it's still a 5 hour drive each way for me so I've never made it.

Webster swapmeet.

I set up every month at the Webster Swapmeet and had one of the best days in a while.Took two trailers since I live close and had a guy waiting on me when I went back for the 2nd trailer. Sold him a set of Dragmasters he had looked at earlier but didn"t want to come off the cash.Guy said he drove all the way from southern Alabama just for the swapmeet. Long drive but you guys from south Fla the show is worth the drive. Had one guy come up all the way from Coral Springs to pick up a 55 Chevy grill I had. The car corral kinda sucked this show but the car show area had some pretty descent cars and trucks in it. To all the Fla and southeastern rodders check out www. Ocala Pumpkin Run .com. ( yes I said pumpkin run) Its going to be above Ocala on hwy 27 ,organizer has leased 400 acres on a huge horse ranch for the show and swapmeet. Check it out ,one of the old-timer vendors told me about it and says its the same guys from the Turkey Rod Run doing the show.
