Yep... he can do it!
My welding/jig table is 4'X10' with 1/2" thick top plate on it. The base is made from an old sissor lift that my dad was going to scrap and I cut it up to make base. I have file cabnet type drawers under it for clamps,air tools,sand paper, and whatever.I mounted a vise on one end like a reese hitch reciever so it can be removed if need be!OH AND YES IT IS HEAVY!
