What year I beam is this?

I bought this from an Old Timer who welded the arm to the beam and used it as a trailer, anyone know what year it is, and what I can do with the spindles?

It is a '28-'31 Ford truck axle. Probably made for a good trailer, but unfortunately there isn't much you can do with it hot rod-wise. The axle could be used, but the spindles, backing plates and drums are for mechanical brakes. The spindles are ruined, but you could sell the backing plates and drums. You may get a few bucks for them from a restorer, but there isn't anything you can use them for besides wall art...

I think those were called Rocky Mountain brakes.
