doin a motor swap for a guy in a 53 chevy panel. pullin out a chevy 350, 6-71 blower holley carb, turn key runner. no idea what this bad boys worth, any hints would be helpful.

Need more info, to many variables, accessorys stay with motor? What bottom end? What heads?
 
sold as is,carb to starter.:confused: no idea on the heads or bottom end. the guy had the motor built and doesnt know what he had built

Seriously though, as was said before, depending on what it actually has would determine the price. But with the seller not knowing would lower it's value. I would offer $3,000.00 and see where it goes from there. But it's a crap shoot.
 
ya it was built by a small local shop. my dad was goin to call and see if he remembered the motor
 
The outside has alot of pricey parts on it like sanderson mainfolds, billet a/c compressor and the alt pulley. Blower is only a single carb but as a bolt on and go it is about $1800-$2k. Motor is only worth about $300-$500 without knowing what is in it. I would alk in and offer $2k for it. Then I know I can part it out and make a little money in the end. But that is just me. I have no issues walking away from a deal if I don't like it. :D
