Byline 1892 - Indian Chief 'Two Eagles' was asked by a US Government
official to relate what he'd learned over more than 90 years of
observing the white man take over his continent. "Considering
everything you've seen, where do you think the white man went wrong?"
"When white man find land, Indians run it, no taxes, no debt, plenty
buffalo, plenty beaver, water clean. Women did all work, Medicine Man
free. Indian man spend all day hunting and fishing, all night making love.
Only white man dumb enough to think he could improve system like
that."
