Checked into that. Can save about $100 doing it the long way like the title lady told me. Just alot of leg work. Im gonna try to track down the person who is on the back of the title that shouldve transfered it and see if he will do what he shouldve done first now. Either way I go I figure the cars gonna be parked for months now seeings as I cant register & plate it until this craps done anyways.

here in washington state you file for lost title for the car you just bought without one and wait three years to get a clean title montana took three weeks with only a bill of sale on a 1929 nash

Same here anvil. I guess I can go in with a presentable bill of sale and get a title on an old car. I haven't done it but i got my info right at the dmv.

Talked to a lady at the DMV finaly and all I have to do is bring a bill of sale and fill out 1 form for a lost title.
