Hey Rodguy, thats Doc's muffler car. Watched that thing being built. Its been parked out side of his muffler shop on N. Division in Spokane for years. I believe it started as either a Monza or Vega he used to drive it into the shop every night. Don't know if he still does.

Yes they actually drive this thing from the bubble, there is a bunch of chains that connect the steering

Those are considered very nice customized vans in Japan, and of coarse there's the Indian made Tata Nano (Wii machine car) but you gotta love the rod in progress photo,..............
