Wildfires too close to Home !

I'm surprised that this hasn't happened sooner as dry as it has been here in Leon County. The strong North winds are blowing it away from us, proper, but making it very difficult on the emergency and fire fighting folks. I pray for those in harm's way and that are being evacuated at this time.

I heard PK as on fire again, it's been a tough summer for you folks.
Here in the Black hills, half of the pines are dead from beetles and in red needles, it's just a matter of time before it all explodes.

We have the same problem to the east of me. A brown forrest full of bettle kill pine.
One of these days... the perfect storm.
