I found it humorous that they spammed the Read the Rules thread. Duhhh. We had a bunch like this totally take down one of the photo boards that I follow. They've spent the past 45 days trying to keep these folks out and have been off line more than on line lately.

Best to just delete their posts cause they can lay a nasty cyber attack on ya, if you try to do it any other way.

This forum has some of the weakest security I've ever saw. I regularly visit about 5 forums and this is the only one with this many spammers. Maybe a update to the security is in order.

Might be also a case of the other forums are monitored more frequently so the spammers don't appear as often
Forum I helped moderate had hundreds a day but we monitored it very frequently.
For Some forums moderators it's a job,others it's a hobby and as long as the spammers don't affect it I don't worry.

For Some forums moderators it's a job,others it's a hobby and as long as the spammers don't affect it I don't worry.

I'm a mod on two of them. We don't have nearly as many issues as here. A lot of it has to do with the server used.
