Since I don't want the front of my house to look like a scrap yard I moved the jetta around last night. Put it in the barn for now until I can get a spot cleaned out behind the barn for it. Had to laugh when I was done moving stuff around for now.

I can relate. I'm having the scrap yard problem as well. My place looks like hell.

You aren't even getting creative yet.

If you chain the rear of the Jetta to the tractor bucket and lift, you should be able t get a few more feet of room. Then you'll also have more room to store stuff underneath the bucket and Jetta. :D

Sam I had a similar thought. I figured I should just lift the Jetta with the tractor and sit it on top the cage on the jeep. But, since I have a non running car right now with a good battery I figured I was going to put the battery in the jeep and get that old girl fired up so I didn't want to tie her down so to speak....

Now you have this big nice garage and still don't have any place to work on your rat:(

Actually it is positioned where I can still work on it, but not all that comfortable. I have decided that monday or tuesday or friday I will be making some time to see what I can do about getting that bushing done on the trans. Either find a way to do it myself or start calling some shops.

As soon as I get some time some stuff will be moved around and out of the shop. Figure I will finish up the sled probably Monday and move it back outside and that will free a lot of space, until then, I can still walk around in there.

If you hook up some cables and pullys from the ceiling maybe you could harness in and just hang over the rat to work.

I'm not being very helpful am I? [ddd
