Yellowstone-Mount Rushmore Vacation

We tied the Heep to the Motorhome and took a trip up north.
2 weeks, 2800 miles, and lots of fuel.
Good to get away but nice to be back home.

Ah yes, those great old Yellowstone tour buses. Beautiful country. You were in my back yard at the heads.

Lots of nice country but I leave than scenic shots to my bride. She only took 867 pictures.

I was up over Ten Sleep last week (south side of Yellowstone). I could just stay up in the Bighorns. I think my daughter and I are taking a camping trip up there in a few weeks. Love that cool mountain air. It was 85 at Buffalo when I started up. Driving with the windows down you can just feel it cool off. There was still snow at the top.

Here's a link to the buses. I think they are all restored with more modern drive train and chassis (One was kept original but they don't use it). Yellowstone bought these 7 or 8 back from some Skagway, Alaska tour company in 2001 and had them all restored.
