Yeah i didn't think there's be anything to see untill he launched it.
I almost bought a little drag bike but didn't need it.
It was a custom frame that had the top tube for a fuel tank... virago forks a 6" slick...wire wheels.. and a yamaha 450? single piston 2 stroke engine that had a big bore kit 13 or 14:1 compression and ran on alcohol or nitro.
the guy was about 155# and he said it would run in the 10's at the 1/4 mile strip with him on it. he only wanted 800 bucks but I had other needs.
sexiest street/drag bike I ever saw sold on Ebay for a grand.
The guy lived in NYC and just bought a brand new R1 and didn't want to pay the bonded storage on the drag bike anymore.
It had a kz 900 crank, kz1100? bores cases tranny and the stock gas tank.
it was still a kick start

he bought a used ninja for parts
He built the frame to accept the rear monshock and a custom fabbed aluminum rear swing arm and it was stretched (a little) and raked (significantly).
He had billet triple trees made to accept the inverted ninja shocks and front wheel. the bike had the black 3 spoke ninja wheels, all black frame and tank. drop down bars, bullet fairing, kerker header, and all the aluminum was buffed out like chrome. It was gorgeous, I didn't have the money to bid. he put it up $500 opening bid no reserve!

yea it was quick and he did not miss a shift. I wonder if it still gets 75 mpg?
