i think that if it runs and you will be able to fix whatever the problems that i might have easily and it would be cost effective for you to have it, there is no reason to pass it up.
Ok so I didn't do it. I did end up selling my truck though. I found a 63 to buy. Looked at it and took me 2 hours to talk myself into it. I didn't have much faith in the truck. The guy promised if I bought it and it didn't make it home he would come pick it up and give me my money back. I was 1 1/2 hours away from home. I made it 10 minutes and the radiator blew out on the highway. I hit the brakes which almost pulled me over into the ditch and killed me. I called him back and said come get it. He did and I got refunded. He offered to put another radiator he had laying around in it and tow it down to my house the next day, but I passed. It was a straight six 3 speed column and I just wasn't to thrilled with that.
