This is a beautiful truck in one of my fav mags... "The Rodders Journal". It's a '35 Ford truck being built by Nacho Gonzalez of San Jose, Ca. The article says he has been working on it for 5 years & is being built on a budget with a little help from his friends. The pictures are absolutely beautiful and the truck is a very beautiful machine (IMO). Be sure to ck it out if u're local store carries the mag.

Very very nice. What is really interesting about this hobby is how different people approach the building of a car. Cars like that one make you stop and take in all the little details.

Thanks for posting these 22. I especially like the rear end treatment. It looks like the quick change is just setting there in mid air. Very nice work!

Your welcome, Bob.
Did you happen to notice the picture at the back of the book (it's too big to be a magazine ;) )
with Nacho sitting on the front tire?
It really shows how small this truck actually is.
I would like to see him sitting in it, but they swear he fits comfortably

I have that issue of The Rodders Journal. This is one of the best magazines on the market. The articles are well written and the photo quality is the best I`ve seen in any magazine. I wish they were cheaper ($13), but worth it, I guess.

I must have studied the pics of that truck for over an hour. Great ride !

Missed that!

Those are some beautiful heads. Must be custom built, I have been around a long time they are a first for me.

Nope. Those are actually "Kong" heads made by Kong Jackson who made speed parts and ignitions for flatheads during the post WWII era. Jackson was also a dry lakes racer I think. Rare!
